The images below were shot on the Agfa Isola (roll 44).
I will speak more about my experience down below…
KENTMERE PAN 400
I decided to go out shooting in Honiton, at home, in Seaton and in Chard for this roll. I don't really have much to say about this because it's been a while since I shot these images and so I have forgotten how I felt while shooting it. This is mainly because I shot the roll over a long period of time and this roll didn't mean much to me when shooting. What I will say is that I quite like these photographs. I like a them quite a lot. Most of these came out okay, however I think the entire roll was underexposed top be quite frank and a lot of the images had some pretty major light leaks. This is probably due to the camera I used because with the Agfa Isola, you don’t really have much you can change and I think the camera itself has many light leaks along with the fact that after shooting the roll I had to wait quite some time before getting it developed and so I probably made a mistake and didn’t store it in an optimal and dark place. Will I use this camera again? Probably not. Medium Format, especially 6X6 Medium Format is incredibly expensive and I just don’t trust this camera to take good photographs any more. Will I shoot Medium Format again? Most probably yes, but only if I get a different camera for it. If I had lets say the Bronica SQ-A or the Mamiya 645 or even the Hasselblad 500CM then I think I’ll dive into this format again.
