POLAROID AUTOFOCUS 660

The Polaroid Autofocus 660 is a very cool vintage camera that shoots Polaroid film (a type of instant film). The camera uses Sonar as its auto focusing system. If the sun disappeared today then the autofocus would still work.

That’s because Sonar sends out ultrasonic sound waves that then bounce off the nearest object, return to the camera and then it focuses on that object the sound waves bounced off of.

These cameras are so robust and they can take some damage. If you see one out and about, although it’s not a guarantee, you still have a good chance that it is still working.
