Mistake made in last week’s Issue, mistake fixed, problems with my email and I did some Photography:
1.) Last week's issue of SSW had a mistake in. The mistake was that I said it was my Dad's birthday on Sunday 8th. That was because I didn't get around to finishing the Blog post until earlier this evening. It was actually my Dad's birthday today and I haven't been online much today as we went out for lunch and then some family came round for dinner but in-between that, I tried doing some macro photography. The lighting wasn’t very good though and so I didn’t get any good images because I had to use long exposures. I guess I could have used a tripod but maybe next time. 2.) I have had problems with my new email address. For some reason emails from me aren’t really going through to people. I think I know what the problem is but I'm going to do some investigating. This is a problem because the email I tried to send has images for a client. Tuesday 10th March 2026
No work done today:
1.) Today the weather was awful again. I did go to Seaton as we were meeting my sister as it was her birthday and I bought my camera along with me with the intent of photographing after seeing her however it was just so cold and I decided not to take any photos. 2.) When I got back home I resent my emails however I have a feeling that they did not get through again. Tomorrow I will be able to find out a little bit more. Wednesday 11th March 2026
Email has been sorted for now, changes to my website and editing some images:
1.) Today I was out having a catchup with a friend. I found out what was wrong with my email as well. It turns out that it is delivering to people's spam or junk mail which is a problem because as I stated before, the emails have images for a client. I will need to see if there Is any way to fix this so any future emails to people go to their regular inbox. 2.) I am going to start adding a digital section to my website. I have a lot to do before I make this a reality but I think it’s important that I have both film and digital because otherwise I am limiting myself and that isn’t very good to be honest. Editing photos:
1.) Today I spent my time editing some images. I’ve done quite a lot. I still have an other more to do so I'll keep on doing that. I’ve decided to spend less time focusing on Polaroids as I'm starting to dislike Polaroid quite a lot. 2.) I have come to the realisation that I should post my photos now. The original plan was to break up photos from my digital camera into months. For example April in one gallery, May in another etc and that the original plan was to wait until I've edited all the images from that month before uploading however that’s not such a good idea because then nothing get’s posted for a while. I should really upload as I edit so as to not go without posting for a long period of time. With that in mind, I'm still not open to posting them yet. I at least need to get South Korea out of the way and then post as I will probably split March up into two parts and maybe even three parts. Friday 13th March 2026
Editing Photos:
1.) I was busy today. I took my parents out for lunch at the local pub and I may have another opportunity taking photos for people. Afterwards we went to the local supermarket as I needed to get some ingredients. 2.) When I got home I spent the rest of the day editing some photos. Saturday 14th March 2026
Add something here:
1.) Today has been quite a busy day. I spent it editing some photos and in-between that I made some fairy cakes for tomorrow. Once cooled I filled them with cream and added rainbow sprinkles. Sunday 15th March 2026
No work done today:
1.) Today was mother’s day and so I didn’t do any work. I spent the day with family which was nice. We went to my sister’s house and we had a roast dinner.
