No work done today:
1.) Today I didn’t really do any work as I have started learning Korean again. The last time didn’t go too well to be honest because I didn’t spend time learning the alphabet (Hangul), however this time I’m going to do that first. Tuesday 17th March 2026
No work done today:
1.) Today was the same as yesterday really. I am still learning the Hangul. Wednesday 18th March 2026
Busy photographing:
1.) Today was a busy day. I went out as i’ve started attending a new group on Wednesdays. I took lot’s of photos during the session. I finished off the roll of Kodak UltraMax 400 and I also started and finished a roll of Fomapan 400. Tomorrow I think I will develop the UltraMax. I am unsure of the Fomapan though. 2.) When I got back home I did some more Korean learning. I have actually learned all of the Hangul. The alphabet wasn't too difficult however there are still some characters I am struggling with but I think it’s time to start on vocabulary. I am going to be learning 500 different words as the next goal. Around 10 new words per day. Maybe i’ll do more. I’m not sure yet but as long as I learn 10 per day then I can learn the 500 words within 50 days. Then I will move onto learning sentence patterns however I may do that at the same time as learning vocabulary. Sentence patterns are good and quick to learn. Let’s say you learn the sentence pattern “This is -” then you can input vocab into the pattern and you get unlimited sentences. you could learn the words “hard”, “difficult”, “awesome”, “easy” and then you can say “this is difficult”, “this is easy”, “this is awesome” etc. Right now I can kind of read korean text which is good, I just can’t read fast and I don’t know what the words say but I can sort of read the korean pronunciation. 1.) Today I have been busy. I spent the day editing my photos and finishing up the notes. Lot’s of things went wrong however I managed it in the end. Saturday 21st March 2026
No work done today:
1.) Today I was out all day and I haven’t been online at all. I took some B&W film into the lab to be developed so hopefully it will be done sometime next week.Sunday 22nd March 2026
Upload of new content and home developing:
1.) I have added new content to my site with some film and updated it’s respective camera page. Kodak UltraMax 400 (Roll 79) that I shot at Home and in Axminster in 2026
Included below is a button to the roll where I talk a little bit about it in more detail. Included is also some handwritten notes. I took detailed notes around shooting the images and around the developing. You can click the button below which will take you directly to the film page where this roll along with all of my other rolls are located.Roll of Kodak UltraMax 400 - Home Developed
2.) I went out with my camera. We were meant to go to Sidmouth but we couldn’t and so yet again I was at home. It was a roll of Harman Phoenix II 200 and I used my Ricoh Mirai. I am slowly getting annoyed and frustrated with this camera and this is only my second roll of film that has gone through the camera. The camera’s autofocus makes you want to punch something. It’s so slow and inaccurate. At first I thought it was fine but almost every single shot wouldn’t focus properly. Once I got home I decided to develop the roll of film. Once again I took notes around the developing and once dried i’ll go through the images and write my post-dev notes. Even if the images are all edited by tomorrow, I still won’t be able to post them yet because I still have a roll of Fomapan 400 to go through once collected from the local lab. I mentioned I took notes around the developing of Phoenix II. I didn’t take any notes during the shooting because the Ricoh Mirai is an automatic camera and so I didn’t detail what settings I used for each shot. 3.) After developing, I decided to edit some of my digital images. Well that’s all for now. Thank you!
