The images below were shot on the Pentax Espio 738S (roll 51).
I will speak more about my experience down below…
KODAK ULTRAMAX 400
I shot this roll of film in Seaton and in Taunton. I quite like these images. There was a market going on in Seaton so we went there to check it out. The sun was shining and it was a nice day out so I decided to take some photographs. I really like the image of the seagull. It’s probably one of my favourites. I think there was a light leak, or a flare. Normally it wouldn’t be too big of a deal. it makes the films more unique but in this case I think it works really well. The seagull is trapped and projected in a little beam of light.Regarding the photos I shot in Taunton? I like these too, especially the discarded drink and sauces that are splattered against the ground. That’s probably my favourite ones of Taunton in this roll as well. Now I don’t shoot Kodak Gold very often because it is a 200 speed film and the weather is not the best in England and even when it is sunny for some reason I never go for Kodak Gold but after this roll I think i’ll be shooting it more often. I think I need to shoot it more but I’m not sure when I will have the time as this year I have mainly been experimenting with film stocks the I’ve not shot with before or film stocks that I haven’t shot very much of.I’m not sure what the next film stock I use will be but I hope I willmget results like these again.
