So yeah. I thought that I would dive into Infrared Photography for the first time. I Bought the Lumix G1 for the sole purpose of doing this as it had been converted to shoot infrared photos. At first I thought I may be doing something wrong because I didn't have the dramatic dark skies like you usually see with infrared but that just wasn't the case because up until the end of March it hasn't been very sunny and so there were no blue skies or white clouds. I really like ho the lat lot of images came out with the dark and dramatic sky. It's almost as if I went out shooting at night time but all of the images were shot during the day. I like how it gives a sense of separation from the foreground that makes it look like the foreground has been cut out from another photograph and placed in front of a dark background.Infrared is really cool because it is invisible light. Light that we normally can’t see because it is invisible to our eyes but if you mod a camera it can see the invisible light. Infrared I also cool because it makes plant life white and so things look completely different. People also look completely different as well. All in all, I really like using this camera and will be using it again during the summer months so keep a look out for more Infrared photography! This is all the infrared for March of 2026.
