The images below were shot on the Contax RTS (roll 56).

I will speak more about my experience down below…

KODAK PORTRA 800 (SHOT AT ISO 640)

I shot this roll in Seaton, at home and in Dawlish. I wasn't actually planning on shooting this roll. With it being 800 speed film and with it being Portra, I wanted to keep it for Christmas to get some nice shots inside however the plan changed. There was a boat that was supposed to be in Seaton however we went there quite late. The boat had gone already which was a shame and I had loaded the film before I left the house as it would have been a bit difficult loading it in pitch black darkness. I was now stuck with it in my camera. I wasn't;t in Seaton very long but I got a few shots of the town. I bought with me my Tripod and Shutter release cable to get some camera shake free shots. This was my first time using the shutter release cable. I finally figured out where it goes lol. I got a few nice images of the town.
We also went to Dawlish and so I got some images while on our walk and I stopped by the swans and got some of the birds. There were a lot more than I usually see in Dawish and this time they were all over the place. They were waddling on across the road and they seemed to be getting into arguments with each other. All in all, I really like these. I think in the future I will be trying out long exposures more often but I just don’t go anywhere at night very often and it doesn’t help that I live in the countryside where there are practically no lights.
