Lab Developed.
I shot this roll in Aperture Priority and I let the lab develop it. I am very happy with how this all turned out. this was my first time shooting Leica Monopan 50 and I think I'll shoot it again in the future because the images came out very sharp and I love how contrasty it is. From what I remember, i used an orange filter for these except the very last few where I used a polarising filter. I think B&W was the right film stock for this job. I really like how dark the orange filter made the sky in some of the images. It makes the white clouds really pop. One thing I will say though is a lot of these images did come out a bit overexposed. I'm really not sure how though because for one this was a 50 speed film which is very slow in and of itself. Then on top of that I used an orange filter which also cuts down on the available light of about 1 to 2 stops. Either I was overexposing or it was a developing issue. With those problems and issues aside I do like them because of the contrast and I like how dark and moody they feel. For this roll we visited a few locations such as a city, a turtle sanctuary and I finished off the roll at another beach.
