Ilford Pan F Plus 50

The images below were shot on the Contax RTS (roll 108).

I will speak more about my experience down below…

Home Developed.

For this roll I was in Taunton and Seaton and I mainly shot closeups of objects that I thought were interesting. I am really happy with how these turned out. Since I had success the with the last roll of B&W, I decided to try again with developing and with some success as well. I didn't really want to worry too much about the process as it was a hot day and I had already destroyed a roll previous to this, injustice wanted to get it over and done with. The original recipe called for a 1+14 dilution of developer (ilfosol 3) and dev for 4:30 at a temp of 20 Degrees C, however my chemicals were at 28 Degrees C. Instead of cooling things down I decided to still go with it but shorten the developing time to about 2 minutes and 30 seconds. I fixed as normal for about 3 and a half minutes using Ilford Rapid Fixer and I finished it off with some Kodak Photo Flo.
This was the first time shooting Pan F Plus and I really like the tones this produces. Doing only closeups was interesting and I enjoyed it. I find my eyes always darting to places you normally wouldn’t look at.
