Fomapan 400

I finally decided to revisited B&W Home Developing and with some success! After having several bad tries using my self spooled Fomapan in manual cameras I decided to try it again but with my automatic point and shoot. The problem I had before was the film would rip from the spool which would not allow me to rewind the film back into the canister. I know now that it was mainly user error on my part. I only used a short test roll for this with very little exposures as to test my chems were working. Luckily I had no problems in developing. I used Ilfosol 3 with a dilution of 1+9 for 8:30 at 20 degrees C (or at least as close to it as I could get without using the Cinestill TCS-1000). For the fixer, I used Ilford Rapid Fixer at the same temp for 2 minutes. at the end I used a dab of Kodak Photo Flo. 

I am very happy now knowing that my chems are working properly and so I don’t have a problem developing more 35mm films in it. I am happy with how these images turned out and I am looking forward to shooting more.
