The images below were shot on the Olympus 35DC (roll 7).

I will speak more about my experience down below…

KODAK ULTRAMAX 400

For this roll, I decided to head to a place called Gamcheon Culture Village. It was a really cool little place with all of the buildings brightly painted or they were covered in artwork. This was the furthest I trialed to while in Busan. I think it was almost an hour each way from my hotel by taxi. While there, I decided together something to eat because ei was really hungry and I ordered something I hadn’t tried before. I decided to order a bowl of Seolleongtang. Seolleongtang is a beef bone soup made by boiling down ox bones to give its milky signature look. There were noddles inside and some pieces of tender beef. It was served with a bowl of rice and some kimchi.
Seolleongtang is not seasoned. You season it at the table to your taste. I didn’t know this and ate it how it was. It was incredibly delicious and I don’t think I needed to season it after all. The owners were very nice and kind and they were very hospitable people.
Later on that evening, I met another friend from online and we both went out and to get some food. He took me to a place that sold tripe. I can’t remember if this is correct but I believe the dish was called “Nakgopsae”. It is a dish that consists of beef intestines, octopus and shrimp. The dish was actually very delicious and I want to eat it again. It was very sweet and smoky. After dinner, we got some street food and this was when I tried a Korean hot dog for the first time. You can have them in different ways such as only sausage, only cheese, sausage and cheese, potatoes on the outside etc and they are all deep fried. if you haven’t had one before I really do recommend. Korean Corn Dogs are absolutely delicious.
There are so many variations but the most common and recognisable is half and half (both sausage and cheese). They are most commonly coated in loads of sugar and served with ketchup and mustard drizzled upon it. For anbody who is reading this and they are from the UK, you may know the street donuts that you can get here. The batter tasted like those.
Afterwards, he had to leave and so I went back to the pub. I had found an Irish pub prior to this and they served really nice cheese sticks and so I got some of those and some drinks. This was when I met another group of people out on their work party and they invited me over and they bought me alcohol. They then invited me to their restaurant (Wedding The Full Moon).
The next day I woke up with a horrible hangover and so I went to the nearest Convenience store and bought a hangover cure. They are very popular in Korea, you can get some that you drink before you have alcohol and you can get some that you drink the next day. It actually worked and my hangover was gone within the same hour. I was still felling sick though but no headache.
Sadly, this was the last roll of film that I shot while in Busan. I had fun when I was there. On my last day I went to that restaurant and I boarded the tram at The Blue Line Park (I wish I had done this earlier as there was another beach that I think was so much better than Haeundae). The very next day I rode the train back to Seoul for my third and final last week.
