The images below were shot on the Minolta X-300 (roll 43).

I will speak more about my experience down below…

Fujifilm 400

I shot this roll in Honiton, Musbury, Seaton, Torquay, Teignmouth and in Chard. Let me start off by saying that I have mixed feelings about these images and I think I have came to the conclusion that I am not too fond of this film stock. I haven’t enjoyed my previous experiences with fuji stocks all apart from Velvia and Superior X-Tra but I talked about that in a previous upload.
I think Fujifilm is best when there is good weather about. Sadly I haven’t had time to experiment under those conditions and i’m not sure if I really want to considering my dislike towards this. It’s a real shame as I shot Some Superior X-Tra as one of my very earliest rolls and I really liked the results.
I’m not sure if this is the same film stock but just rebranded or if it’s something completely different. Fuji is very confusing when it comes to branding and rebranding etc so for now I will treat it like a different film stock. I’m not saying all of these images are terrible and I hate them and want to throw my negatives in a furnace, because why would I have included these if I didn’t like them even just a little bit.
Out of this roll, these are the ones I like the most. In particular, I really like the pink flowers just outside of Seaton Tescos, and the old car in Musbury. I also like last image of the clock tower in chard.
All in all, I’m not sure if i’ll shoot this again and to be quite frank, no matter if its 200 speed film or 400 such as this, I am quite happy that I don’t have anymore of this film sitting in my fridge because it will probably be 10 years expired by the time I bring myself to shoot it again…
