The images below were shot on the Contax RTS (roll 41).

I will speak more about my experience down below…

Fujifilm Velvia 100

I shot these images at home, in Shute and at the Donkey Sanctuary in Sidmouth. I was happy with most of the images on this roll, even more so considering it was only my third time shooting slide film, however I won’t lie when I say a part of me is also disappointed. some of the images which I haven’t included on here came out very underexposed. Even though I bracketed my shots and shot the same frame twice using different metering techniques (auto exposure on my Contax, a light meter app on my phone and even checking exposure on my digital camera, they still came out underexposed.
The shots that I have included here are the ones I really like. I’ve even thrown in a few that are underexposed because I like the composition and muted colours of the underexposure. Another problem I faced is double exposures. I found out that I had been loading my camera wrong. I don’t know what I did but somewhere down the line I started loading it wrong. I only found this out after the fact, and only found out when I sent several rolls in to be developed. Still, it makes the photos more unique I guess.
