The images below were shot on the Leica Mini II and the Pentax Espio 738S (roll 52).

I will speak more about my experience down below…

CINESTILL 800T (A POINT & SHOOT FILM SWAP BETWEEN MAX+MYSELF)

This was my second time trying out a film swap. I tried it with Max from China again. I say again because I have also done a previous film swap with him however I am still waiting on the film which is why I haven't posted it yet. I shot these photos in Bristol and he shot them I think in Manchester and London. He started it off strong with the Leica Mini II and I finished the Film Swap off with the Pentax Espio 738S. This was also only my second time shooting Cinestill 800T. I really like these but I still have lot’s to learn because some of the double exposures are quite faded or you can hardly see them. I visited Bristol with my Mum and Dad and my nephew. We went up for a few days and it was fun. We went the science museum and did other things as well.
I think these are cool because it gives them a really nice effect. You wouldn’t normally be able to capture these the same exact way if you were using a digital camera becuase this is film and what you get is what you get. There is no checking after. You don’t know what you get until the film is developed.
The art of a Film Swap is that you do it not knowing what the other person has captured and when you get an image aligned up just right, then it’s just so so satisfying. I think that I'll be doing Film Swaps more in the future because of these effects but I'll try to capture more interesting scenes as I was practically in the same exact area for the whole entire roll and that is because we didn't go out very far and this was Cinestill. I wanted to shoot stuff at night time.
