The images below were shot on the Olympus 35DC (roll 5).
I will speak more about my experience down below…
KODAK PORTRA 400
For this roll I decided to do something crazy. I decided to take a little trip to a place called Shinsegae. Shinsegae is supposedly the biggest shopping mall in the world and it just so happened to be located in Busan. Seeing as I may be about to make a huge purchase anyway, I decided what’s the harm in burning a little more money so I ordered a taxi to the store. Shinsegae was absolutely huge and they weren’t lying when they said the department store was big. You could find anything there, literally. I decided I wanted to purchase a camera, specifically the Fujifilm X100V. Sadly, like everywhere else at the time, they did not have it in stock. Thanks Fuji. I didn’t let it ruin my trip though, because I purchased the Fujifilm X-S10 instead. Sadly, I do n to use it as much anymore but that’s a story for another time. After I left, I got another taxi back to the hotel at which point I thought I lost my wallet and my passport (in the end both were both actually in my pocket). Then I walked around the market in Haeundae and found a restaurant. I had Stingray Sashimi. I’m not much of a fish person and I’ve never eaten stingray before so it was an interesting experience. During this roll I also tried “Mega Coffee” for the first time. Mega Coffee is a huge brand in South Korea. My drink however didn’t actually have coffee. I ordered the Unicorn Frappe. All in all, I think I quite like these. They were quite underexposed but I think the grain adds some character to the images. I especially like the ones of the market.
